Returning to Boulder

I have returned to Boulder, albeit briefly to get some studying done and meet with a tutor.  There's something about Boulder that puts a smile on my face and there's the things that remind me why I left.  Let's start with the positives.

Boulder is absolutely beautiful.  It rests at the foothills of the Rockies.  There are the flatirons, a rock formation (part of the original rockies...i think) that rise straight out of the ground.  It seems like there's always blue skies even in winter.  I haven't seen a single person with a jacket on today and it's the first week of February for crying out loud!  The Boulder creek glistens in the sun with the banks slightly covered in ice.  There's people out jogging and lets not forget about the fact that it's a college town.  Everywhere you look there's a beautiful chick just hanging out without a care in the world (man would I like to be in college again!)

Now to the irritating parts...if you have lived here for more than a couple years you can't go a single day without running into some random person you wish didn't recognize you.  I seem never to be able to remember their name which is probably because i didn't enjoy their company the first, second or even third time i met them.  I guess that's the only real thing i can complain about...which mean all in all Boulder is a fantastic place.
